Reviewers and Editors They must not upload manuscripts or reports into AI tools. Evaluation and editorial decisions are human.
Non-compliance Undeclared use of AI is treated like any other material fact that has been concealed.
* The journal may request clarifications from the author.
* Depending on the severity of the case and at the discretion of the Editorial Board, it may request the inclusion of the statement, reject the manuscript, or, if already published, issue a correction, an expression of concern, or a retraction, in line with COPE guidelines.
* Results from detection tools are considered indicative and are evaluated alongside the rest of the evidence.
* The decisions of the Editorial Board on this matter are final.
The journal may update this policy whenever it deems necessary.
